Sweet Oatmeal & Wheat Pancakes

Sweet Oatmeal and Wheat Pancakes are delicious breakfast treats for little ones which can be put together in a hurry and are nutritious too

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup quick cooking rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon or just a dash of cinnamon powder
  • 2 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1 cup water or a little less
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon fruit salt I use Eno
  • 2 teaspoon oil for greasing the pan prior to frying

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients (except the fruit salt & oil) to make a smooth batter
  • Add the fruit salt & stir well. Set aside for 2minutes
  • Heat a griddle/tawa and grease it with some oil
  • Spread a ladle full of batter in the centre with a circular motion
  • Cover & cook until golden brown on both sides
  • Serve hot with honey & orange segments (I only used honey)
