Ham Sandwich

This super delicious ham and cheese sandwich is a quick fix for hunger pangs and and a perfect snack for picnics or get togethers. Takes less than 10 mins to put together.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of sandwich bread
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 8 lettuce leaves cleaned
  • 2 large cucumbers
  • 4 large slices of ham
  • 4 cheese singles/slices

Instructions

  • Thinly slice the cucumbers diagonally and keep aside. Wash and pat the lettuce leaves dry. There should be no traces of water
  • Apply half a tablespoon of mayonnaise on each slice of bread, then place two lettuce leaves followed by the cucumber slices
  • Place the slice of ham and a slice of the cheese on top of it and cover with the remaining slice of bread
  • Trim off the browned edges of the bread if desired. Slice the sandwich diagonally into half and serve
